About

Max Ragel is a University of Oregon journalism student graduating this year.

I discovered my passion for journalism and sports coverage during my freshman year at the University of Oregon through a student practicum program called DuckTV. There, I had the opportunity to interview student-athletes and tell stories about collegiate athletic programs across Oregon.

I have gained experience in broadcast production and news-style reporting. Although the majority of my skill set is in sports coverage, my college experience has helped me become a well-rounded reporter prepared to cover multiple beats. My goal is to pursue a reporting or producing position with a local news network or sports team.
